Garden Construction
Andrew grew up in the Channel Islands and in 1996 went to study Landscape Design & Construction at Merrist Wood College in England before returning to Alderney to work within the industry. In 2003 Andrew returned to Merrist Wood College to study arboriculture before starting his own company on Alderney. Andrew moved to Christchurch in 2007 and continued to develop his landscaping skills at Ken Lomax Landscaping. When Ken retired in 2019 Andrew bought the business and it has now become Stone Landscapes Ltd.

Landscape Designer
Andrew works closely with professional designer Ester van der Sande. Ester graduated from Lincoln University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and worked in Auckland for a landscaping firm for several years before setting up her own business. With a move in Christchurch in 2002 she worked as a consultant on various residential and commercial projects. She enjoys gardening and skiing, when she is not watching her son’s football, trampolining and swimming. Ester works part-time with Andrew, preparing landscape plans.
Used Andrew & his team to lay pavers, construct deck with shade sail, and a raised garden bed. Andrew came up with tweaks right off the bat which improved the concept l hadn't even thought of. Very pleased with results, neat, classy workmanship. Certainly recommend. Allan
